Liezel Landman: Manager
Liezel is a qualified social worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Development and Policy from the University of Pretoria. She has been Kamcare’s Manager since 2009, after already working in the Roodeplaat community in the field of community development. Personal challenges in her youth sparked a deep passion for caring for others, and she firmly believes that poverty can be addressed through training and empowering communities.

Karabo Mahlangu – Project Manager:
Originally from Kwa-Mhlanga and now based in Derdepoort, Kameeldrift, Karabo has been a dedicated member of the Kamcare team for over five years. As Project Manager, he ensures daily operations run smoothly while also pursuing his passion for early childhood development through managing a local crèche. With a strong interest in agriculture, Karabo promotes micro farming and home gardening as tools for food security and empowerment, especially among youth and vulnerable families. His leadership, versatility, and deep care for the community make him a valued and respected presence both at Kamcare and beyond.

Jaqueline Mashitisho: Social Auxiliary Worker
Jaqueline Mashitisho is a passionateSocial Auxiliary Workerwith over a decade of experience working with children from disadvantaged communities. Raised in a family of five, she developed a strong sense of care and responsibility, which fuels her commitment to providing academic and emotional support to those in need. Jaqueline believes deeply in walking alongside families and celebrating every step of progress. Her dream is to one day become a qualified teacher and continue her journey of upliftment and hope.

Reandri Visser: Groen Kameelperd Thrift Shop
Born and raised in Pretoria, Reandri Visser joined Kamcare at the start of 2025 and works in the thrift shop, where her background in graphic design brings creativity and care to the space. With a warm, helpful nature and a strong sense of community, she enjoys giving pre-loved items a second life and connecting with people from all walks of life — believing that small, thoughtful actions can make a big difference.

Elzaan Nortjé : Financial Officer
Elzaan has bookkeeping and office administration experience since 1993. She is married to Arnold and has one son. In her free time she runs a business, Thatch Galore. Her family is her first priority and her dream for the community and South Africa is that all families should be able to live together in peace and harmony. Her second love is watching her son play rugby and she believes in the following quote from Ryunosuke Satoro:- "Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean."

Thea Rossouw: Secretary
Thea has over 35 years administration experience. For many years she worked in the banking environment. Thea started working at Kamcare during October 2010 as the secretary. Her motto in life is to live life everyday to the fullest.. making every second count. To help other people, ensuring the happiness of her own family and doing everything that she does, to the best of her ability, makes her very happy.

Catherine Malete : General Assistant
Catherine has been working at NG Kameeldrif for the last 27 years and has been part of Kamcare from the very beginning. Catherine is always ready with a warm smile, a helping hand and a sympathetic ear to all in need. Catherine comes from a large family and believes in hospitality towards friends and strangers. Catherine’s dream is that all people will go to sleep every night without being hungry and she takes great joy in doing her part to assist Kamcare with the distribution of food parcels.
